Primary Stormwater & Environmental Use Cases

These units are essential for land uses with high pollutant loads or spill risks. 

· Gas and Fueling Stations: Captures fuel and oil spills from pumping areas.

· High-Intensity Parking Lots: Treats runoff from commercial lots where vehicles drip oil and grease.

· Roadways and High-Traffic Intersections: Used in urban areas where traditional ponds aren't feasible due to space constraints.

· Pre-treatment for LID Systems: Installed before "Low Impact Development" (LID) features like ponds or bioswales to prevent them from clogging with heavy grit. 

Industrial & Commercial Applications

Specialized separators are used in facilities that handle petroleum or heavy grease.

Standard SPI designs exist for inlet pipe systems ranging from 150 mm (6") to 900 mm (36").  The SP1700 is one of the many standard designs StormPal has produced and installed in Subdivisions and parking lots across Canada.
